This has been bugging me since last Thurs when it was on BBC1.

Will Smith gives his location away when he is on the run with Gene Hackman by calling his wife's blonde friend . However the only time we see this friend previously is when she is at the house after allegations about smith came out in the newspaper and you get the impression she is there for moral support for the wife. Then Smith calls her directly when he is in serious danger, did I miss something???
