'Old' newspaper front pages.
Does anyone know of a site that lets me see the front pages of old, preferably UK, newspapers?

You can read the main headlines but to see the page in detail you have to buy a copy (selecting from a number of different formats).

To really find out what was in the newspapers on specific dates, the best thing to do is to head for your nearest large reference library. They usually have 'The Times' (and possibly some other titles) on microfiche or in digital format, going back to the earliest years of publication.
