I've thaught for a long time that an outer hebredian island should be given over to the sub-human element amongst us. It just isn't fair that any reasonable, socialy consious people have to share the same space as dirt like that. Just give them some tarpaulin, rudimentary tools, a few packets of seeds and a bit of live stock and leave them to themselves on an outer hebredian island, and as they turn up just keep sending them and let's arrive at the society some of us deserve. It's all way way way overdue! Please don't say it isn't going worse by the month.

Perhaps it's about time where we adopted a totally different penalty for crimes like this in that those found guilty should be subjected to the same treatment as they have meted out to innocent victims. I am sure there would always be some anonymous individual (like the hangman) who would be prepared to offer their services.

Make it a public spectacle and perhaps the message would get through "encourager les autres".

And don't say this isn't the way a civilised society behaves. I know it isn't , but sadly we don't seem to be a civilised society any more.

I think it's about time some of the blame was directed at the braindead judges who allow so many to go unpunished.

they sit in their luxurious fortress/homes dishing out so-called justice, yet seem to have no idea of the pain and suffering that goes on around them, sure, they hear it every day, hear about it in their notes and files for their next cases, but its not the same as seeing or feeling it and understanding it -they probably think its the end of the world if their newspaper doesn't turn up!

they seem to have largely become desensitized and these crimes become words on paper.

this sounds hard to believe, i know, because they see all the evidence and hear the graphic stuff that the public doesn't, but thats what makes it all the more shocking when you hear the pathetic sentences handed out.

I mean, we won't see this video that they made, but i can imagine it being utterly disgusting and heart wrenching - so why hasn't the judge felt the same way and sentenced accordingly?
