world war 3 conscriptions

if there was a call up tommorow for all males to go to war -as in the second world war, knowing what we now know about iraq, how many of you would rather go to prison instead ???
taking into account the state this country is in???
me- id chose prison at least youd know where your enemy was !!

However, I don't think World War III will be anything like WW2 or WW1. I think the use of ground troops would be very limited...

when I was 18 some chavs attacked my with poles and stuff when I was trying to protect a mate, they fractured my skull and that severed the nerves in my nose, hence the loss of smell & taste, so I would have to have a desk job , or the really smelly ones, maybe sewer fighter.!!

Johnlambert- I would like to point out that the only individuals I would even contemplate deliberately shooting are the warmongerers who, if WW3 came, er, warmongered. I don't approve of friendly fire, on the grounds that it ain't friendly.

Personally I still think TV would operate...it's a better propaganda medium than radio because not only can you deceive with words but also pictures.Hell, the BNP manage to convince some simply by carpet-bombing any leaflets with Union Flag livery. Not to mention that WW3 would, of course, be Scoop of the Century.
