2006 Best Bits - Your ideas needed.

I want to make my Xmas/NY cards this year, and have been searching for inspiration, but nothing is catching my eye. So I have decided to make a collage of funny/memorable things that happened in 2006, that can be depicted in pictures. For recent examples, Dean Gaffney's trial on Celebrity Jungle, Boris Johnson headbutting @ the Germany v's England celebrity football match. George Michael asleep @ the wheel (a few times). I am having trouble thinking about anything that happened earlier this year.... can you help with my brainstorm?
