Which of you thinks Diana was murdered?
Today claims that driver Henri Paul was 3 times over the (alcohol) limit have apparently been confirmed. Yet we'll almost certainly never know for sure if his blood samples were switched. And the verdict still seems unconvincing against footage of Paul just minutes before clearly having no problem walking, or even balancing while doing up his shoelaces. Do you think Di was assassinated? I do. And I'd love to know what her sons really think.

To repeat from an earlier question. The blood sample that was stored in a tamper proof storage facility was recently DNA tested and the blood was confirmed as that of Henri Paul.
So that rules out samples being switched. The only other possibility would be to remove the blood sample from the storage locker, add alcohol, then return. If you know anything about blood, blood chemistry etc, then you would know that this is next to impossible.
So.... sample wasnt switched, Henri Paul had way over the legal limit of alcohol in his blood.

If it turned out that she was assassinated by members of the royal family, would her sons then pursue the abolition of the institution as corrupt and outdated? Or would they simply carry on with their 'duties'?
Just who is it that is supposed to have assassinated her? If Prince Charles is implicated that might cause some interesting conversation around the Christmas dinner table.
Why don't we just get rid of all of them anyway?
LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC!

Henri Paul certainly didn't appear drunk but you don't necessarily have to be swaggering about or not in control of yourself after a few drinks. If he drank regularly, then it would affect him less outwardly.
I agree that there are many oddities in the case... the white car never found, the body guard who survived but can't remember a single thing about the event, the switched cars at the last minute, the route taken not being the regular route, the ambulance not arriving for ages (you may expect this in the UK though!) carbon monoxide found in Henri Pauls body and so on. However, as lady gold says, she would have survived wearing a seatbelt and if anyone had really wanted to assassinate her 100%, then a car accident is not a guarantee. It may never have even happened. Henri Paul could have reached his destination without crashing quite easily.

It was just a tragic accident in my opinion..no more no less
Dodi told Henri to get his foot down to escape the paparazzi
and Henri was doing as he was told by the man who paid him, just bad luck that Henri lost control of the car and we all know the end result.
Dodi's dad has got that much money he can pay anybody to say what he wants them to say,so once again in my opinion forget conspiracy theories this was nothing but a tragic accident

At the end of the day, the only people who actually need to know are her sons and perhaps they already do. Either way, I think it is time to stop dragging this up again and again. What has happened has happened and what was possibly done (if it was a conspiracy) can not be undone. There will always be two views of this tragedy. If I were Dodi's father I too would not rest until I was sure of what had happened. It has nothing to do with money, but with the love for a lost child! Diana's sons will most likely feel the same way.
If it wasn't a conspiracy, then the person to blame, if we must blame anyone, is Henri Paul. Why? Because if he was in fact three times over the limit, he could have said NO, when asked to drive. Any responsible chauffeur / protection officer would have done that!
If in fact it was a conspiracy, then I agree with nox that we will never ever find out who initiated it, that is for certain!
Dolly1308, calling those who do not agree with your views anti - British twits is totally uncalled for! Think before you jump to such stupid conclusions please!
Little Willy, do you know Dodi's father personally that you can judge him in this case? Not very fair of you to assume that he would pay people to say what he wants to hear. He is a father who desperately wants to understand what happened to his son as well as to Diana.
