The Suffolk Slasher

Does anybody wish to give an amateur Psychological profile of the Suffolk Slasher. He (assuming it is a he??) seems more expedient than The Yorkshire Ripper.

I can predict a "calling from God" will be mentioned when he is caught.

Will there be a non-tom killing like The Yorkshire Ripper?

Any ideas?

Hmmm, well my amateur psychological view is that he has been humiliated by women in some way, maybe even by a prostitute. Or maybe he has caught something off one and getting his revenge. Or maybe his wife turned to prostitution and left him and it has affected him.
Going off what i have seen and heard so far on the news though, it seems that he will be an immigrant, as the bodies are just 'discarded' and no great effort has been made to cover them up.

Presumably also if the first girls to be found were killed around the same time as their disappearance, their bodies will have been in water for several weeks and I envisage that that may add to the difficulty in establishing the cause of death. The third girl had been missing for about a week I think and she was found in woodland so I would think that makes things a bit easier (not that I know anything about it, probably just watch too much TV).

Just watched news and apparently someone has contacted police to say he saw 3rd body in woods the week before the first two were found but thought it was a mannequin, so thought nothing of it till this. This 3rd body was strangled, 1st and 2nd bodies because there is no marks on body they think they could have been poisoned.

Having not read anyone elses opinions yet:-

Man....latent homosexual who hates women and thinks killing prostitutes is not that bad a thing as he thinks they are worthless.

Or ...man scorned by women,perhaps ugly, or small penis or been cheeted on so thinks all women bad.

Woman.....husband who went to prostitutes do getting revenge on prostitutes in general rather than specific ones.

Or...man who is practicing murder...starting with prostitutes till he "gets the hang of it". Angry at the world and wants to make a name for himself...a non achiever. He feels that by cheating capture he is clever and not worthless at all, outwitting the police.

Bloke � lives south of Ipswich (where he leaves the bodies is on his way home), probably into fishing or dog walking (knows countryside), billy no mates, slightly odd looking, insecure, under achiever, inability to form serious lasting relationship with a woman (or if not, where in god�s name does she think he is?), probably needlessly killed small animals when younger. Lack of violence (not to say that murder isn�t violent, but I mean lack of marks, mutilation etc) makes me think that it is not hate or revenge, but a fascination with killing/death and as someone said earlier, prostitutes are easy targets. No clothes is to remove evidence rather than for sexual gratification � the sexual gratification comes over the power of taking life and watching it slowly ebb away. Or perhaps he has watched a loved one slowly die and wants to create the peacefulness in her eyes together with the fear. For the first time in his life, he is master of something. And he is good at it.

The police are looking into the fact the the first 2 girls were 'poisoned', rather than a supplied drug overdose, so does this mean his confidence is now growing as he moves onto aspheyxia?

It seems 5 girls in 9 - 10 days, although the bodies could have lain there for ages, 2 of the girls went missing a few weeks back, Now what? - the girls in Ipswich have gone on the defensive, will he move on?

It will have the eyes of the world on it.....maybe he will see it as a thrill and try to kill in the region. More probably he will take a break.

Perhaps it is someone who has caught AIDS and blames it on prostitutes, even if thats not how he caught it. If so he may commit suicide now that he has vented his anger.

Pitstop what are the main 'Trigger' reasons for killing?
Anger, lust, revenge ~ bravado?
Is it a certainty that this is the work of just one man? Coz it may be that there are a couple of them trying to out-do each other, hence the different methods of murder.
It could be some sort of revenge ~ maybe this guy caught something nasty, like Herpes or AIDS, not even neccessarily from a prostitute, and is now going round bumping off these women.
Or it could be anger at his sexuality, or how he was treated by his mother, or,or,or .....
I think we all read too many detective fiction books and sometimes we just have to come to terms with the fact that there is no underlying reason, some people are just sad, sick b@stards that were born evil and get a kick from doing what normal people in society find abhorrent.
The total shame about this is that bleedng heart liberals will look for a reason to keep this piece of sh1t alive and try to 'rehabilitate' him. If there was ever a time to bring back hanging this would be it.
I notice that no-one has mentioned the possibility that this killing spree could be down to 'pimp' wars, nor has anyone said that this bears a striking similarity to what the eastern european drug runners get up to when they have been ripped off by their mules. Or is it too racist or xenophobic to suggest that this could be down to illegal immigrants?
Think back to the nigerian guy that was convicted of sleeping with women with the sole purpose of passing on to them the AIDS virus he was carrying.

Samuel23, all of the points you named can be a trigger for committing these type of crimes. I think the guy they are looking for will be about 35 years old and single.
I think he could certainly be responsible for the previous crimes of the late 1990's and early 2000's and has recently been released from prison. I also think that this will not be the end of it, he is on a roll and will want to continue, most crimes committed by serial killers tend to gather in intensity, so I feel that he will move onto another area and continue. It wont be too far from where he is operating from now - maybe somewhere like Peterborough, Cambridge etc
The other option is that these crimes are being committed by a lorry driver operating from Felixstowe Port, and then of course we could be dealing with a foreigner, but I think it is more likely to be local, as they have good knowledge of the area. The only thing that would put me off this idea is that the murderer would have to have a second vehicle, as a large lorry would be more than noticable.
I know there is going to be a police conference at 11am, when they are going to formally identify the 2 new bodies, I am hoping, in a sad way, that it is the 2 missing girls rather than 2 new ones, otherwise the total will be climbing to 7.

I'm finding all this really interesting i think that he (assuming it is a he) may be really pleased about all the press coverage he is getting and may be feeling very clever about not being caught. I also think that to fuel his 'habit' he may need to kill more frequently. Although the method of killing may be similar, the killer is probably perfecting his methods through all the practise he's getting which may make him harder to catch i would imagine that the killings are planned very well although something that he didn't account for may catch him off guard. He may even want to be caught really, particularly if he wants to stop killing but feels he can't. Does that sound feasible??

The killer is a white male i say this because serial killer normally kill in their own racial groups ,he has probably used prostitutes in the past and feels a sense of discust towards himself,he probably had a dominant female figure growing up that he feels let him down in some way.He has probably killed before over a period of time leaving times between each murder and has now built himself into a frenzy .He uses strangulation to control his victims and gets a sexual enjoyment from the last breath leaving the body .He leaves the body naked to show his contempt towards the victims to him they are objects not people .He is now taunting the police and watching the media enjoying the attention ,he probably has trouble being around woman and likes to spend time with the bodys before dumping them .And i think now he will be moving into other areas to find his victims ,he dumped the bodys in places of interest to him maybe from childhood games or sexual experiances i think he has lived in the area but no longer does he may work in the area .Above all he looks completly normal and is probably carrying on in his normal work routine .sorry its a bit long winded im training to be a criminal profiler so i find this of great interest to me thankyou for reading .

I think there are two people involved in this crime.
Judging by the two bodies dumped by the road side, why were they only yards apart?
If only one person was involved and he had both bodies in his vehicle and then drove out to this spot, would he not have dumped the bodies together?
If he dumped one and then at a later time dumped the other, would he have chosen a spot only yards from the other?
Therefore it seem reasonable to me that if there were two vehicles involved, one in front of the other, they both stop and dump the bodies out at the same time, only yards from each other.

I think maybe the killer dumped both bodies close together to give a message of see what i can do under your noses to the police ,he might have a large van and have stored both bodies and wanting to dump them further apart got disturbed panicked and got rid of the second body as soon as the other disturbance had passed ,i think he is probably getting very irate now and is aware that he could be leaving mistakes in his panic this man feels that his control and power is being taken away ,in his mind these girls are not people just objects he feels no guilt or remorse for his actions and he feels he is doing a public service ,i think also when the media coverage dies down a bit he will strike again he hates the attention being taken off him .
