Probably too late for this year but next year can you have a Bah Humbug section for all the people who keep crashing into the Christmas section with their anti Christmas messages and spoiling it for others.

If they all hate it so much they shouldn't come into the site and should have one of their own to be miserable old Scrooges in!!

When you live alone and have no family and friends all live far away it means you have nowhere to go, nobody to visit or anyone to visit you. Anyone who dare wish me a Happy Christmas will be strung up, have bamboo rammed under their nails and boiling oil poured down their throat. Apart from that I'm fine about thoughts of Christmas.

I think what you have to remember is that it is not a happy time for everyone. This was bought home to me the year my husband had a serious car crash on christmas eve and i had dead bodies wheeled past me on trollies and i overheard a man calling his sister to tell ther that his parents had just been wiped up and killed. So sorry to sound like a bah humbug, but christmas isnt all joy for everybody. For a lot of people it carries painful memories. So sorry to sound so serious Athley, my apologies! I do wish you a very Happy christmas and i intend to have one myself becuase i was one of the lucky ones that year. X

Sorry, I find Christms the most depressing time of the year for many reasons. Roll on January, longer days, the very first signs of spring and the end of the whole Christmas hype.

unruliejulie - yes I agree that it isn't all Im Dreaming of a White Christmas for everyone so it would be good to have a separate category for everyone who feels like that to vent their spleen.

I'm sorry to hear about your husband but also very glad he obviously survived his accident. Bad things happen to people all year around its life unfortunately.

I am trying to point out that for everyone, it is NOT the best time of the year and that is why some people dont like it. its not about being a scrooge. There are so many reasons why it isnt a time of year enjoyed by all, no need for a seperate catagory for that i dont think.

The wording isn't intended to be harsh at all. I just think it would be nice for people who like Christmas to have a section and people who don't to have a separate section. Don't see a problem with that really.

Surely everyone would be pleased to have their own sections in an ideal world!!!

I hate Christmyth so much that I find very little of a positive nature to add to the topic and so I generally steer clear; unlike other topics, i.e. religion, they the ones who stoles it from us!
