Why are we allowing Britain to be taken over by Muslims?

This year's Queen's Speech included footage from a Mosque. Channel 4's alternative Queen's Speech was by a veiled Muslim. The good old British Christmas is virtually a thing of the past for fear of offending Muslims. These people are, at least for the time being, a minority in this country yet they virtually rule now. Why oh why are we letting all this happen?

I notice that during the Queens's speech today not one mention of the war in Iraq or Afghanistan. I know the soldiers had their separate Xmas speech but she obviously was greatly aware of the friction this was causing between the politicians and her subjects.

I really cannot see Britain or any other European country becoming predominently muslim - unless you only count those who overtly practice their religion. There is a reformation in the offing for Islam and that will lead to a reduced fear of the "peril" among the fringes of "white" society. Muslims will then present nothing more noticeable in contrast to Christians than what church-goers did to non-goers less than a century ago. In the US (and even in the Irish part of the UK) Christians can be more disagreeable, even more objectionable, than muslims within that country - on several levels there is a great similarity between the evangelists and the jihadis. I for one will go about my life without getting worked up about these things - time will take care of it. Tolerance will prove its worth.

If Muslims are part of the community and most are British citizens then as we are a secular country they have every right to get there voice heard and for us to listen. Anyway only 1-2% of christians attend church regularly....it would be interesting to know the figure for Muslims?

If we have 1.6 million muslims here, and something like 13% supported the 7/7 bombers in London, (according to some poll or other) then, should we be worried?
