Handy Man for hire!

My ex lost his job last october and has told me and the kids that he has been unemployed so stopped paying me maintenance which is under a court order, but I have found out since that he is now self employed as a handy man in his area - he doesnt know that we know. i dont know how I can him to pay me anything. And how can I use my court order? Can anyone help? Thanks

As its a court order you can ask for the case to be listed again and if necessary your ex will have to provide details of his income. The problem is that you have no real idea of how much work he does he could be earning anything from a few pounds to a few hundred and he may well be paid in cash. Proving it is going to be a nightmare for you. At least the kids know the truth - I would confront him and see what he says
