If she's a hidu, then she's misled - millions of gods?
The reason people go on about Muslims is as follows:

BB has brought the subject of racism to the top of the news agenda. Most of the racism on BB was fairly mild.

But the same week we had an example of vicious, cruel and hateful racism by Muslims on Dispatches on C4.

http://www.channel4.com/news/dispatches/articl e.jsp?id=1066

It called for killing of Jews and Indians for a start.

THAT is what should have been filing the news media all week, not just a couple of stupid people who thought it would be a good idea to lock themselves in a house for a few days.

I wish Keith Vaz would have spent as long going on about Dispatches as he has about Big Brother.

And Tony Blair made comments about Dispaches in house.
In fact you can watch Dispatches here if you want to see some REAL rasicm.

Divided into 6 parts.

vehelpful. I think you need to stop posting about that dispatches programme. I'm beginning to think your a racist. I see your point, as I saw some of it, but these thing are usually one sided, and only show the extremist views.
CT I think vehelpful is trying to tell you what you are desperately tryng not to hear .Don't cry when it's all too late .
CT, extremist views or not, nothing gets done about it, yet 3 people locked in a house make a few comments and all hell breaks loose
Really? Why don't you google 'inciting racial hatred' and see some examples of people that have been jailed for their crimes.
Yes some people do get jailed for it,but it takes alot less for a white person to get called a racist than anyone else
That really doesn't bother me most of the time. I've got nothing to hide. Only when these things take a step away from common sense do I get bothered about it.
So it`s ok for you to think vehelpfulguy is a racist because he posts a few links?
You obviously have one sided views yourself
I wouldn't mind but I don't think that it's the first time i've seen them.

With the title of the thread it seems that vhg has lumped all muslim together into the 'extremist/radical' group.
Should he have worded it `some muslims`

Why is it whenever somebody tries to express their views the race card comes out?

It`s the same old story.......One rule for them?
Why not? By implication it seems to say all muslims are like this behind closed doors.
Ok so he worded it wrong, he still has a point though which you seem to disagree with
Everyone who is talking about the BB racist stuff has basically just jumped on the media bandwagon, to show themselves as anti-racist, in an incident somewhat blown out of proportion.

The dispatches stuff seems to be more like a scaremongering exercise, to drum up ratings.
As goodsoulette, says in her post on the other thread, "A program about the millions of tolerant, friendly, well integrated muslims that live in this country wouldn't make good viewing now, would it?"
No it wouldn`t make good viewing... but the muslims mentioned in the link are a bigger threat to this country than Jade,Daniella and the S Tub 7 bird in CBB.

What`s more scary...3 dumb birds calling an Indian a poppadom or a group of muslims spewing their hatred rants?

Thing is, the same words mean different things to different people, which makes this particular debate difficult. For example:

"Democracy"
Western: the people vote for a candidate, they rule.
(former) Soviet Union: a leader, not necessarily popularly elected, lead in the interests of the proletariat.

"Dictatorship"
Western: oppressive, nondemocratic rule.
(former) Soviet Union: a focus or basis for government, e.g. "dictatorship of the proletariat", "dictatorship of the law".

...hence debates across cultures get more than a little tricky.

My main point...you're now aware of Shetty's Hinduism, right? Good.
