Does anybody agree that bullfighting should be stopped?

I know its a bit random but i saw it on holiday and found it absolutley disgusting. Are there any charities suppporting a ban against bullfighting? And do you agree that this should be stopped? TIA

The EU should not have allowed Spain in unless it stopped such barbaric behaviour.
One village festival involves chucking a live goat out of a clock tower I believe.

Well in all fairness Spain could argue that we shouldn't have joined the EU either with our record of hunting!!

However, back to the question..........yes, it's abhorrent, as is all animal cruelty. Plenty of charities out there calling for a ban on it, including this which you might like to sign?

I think they should make bullfighting fairer. Eother give the bull a sword or take the matadors sword away.....then thy can have a bare knuckled fight, man against bull

It's absolultey barbaric what i read on that petition B00 - It just has to stop.

I don't really know much about bulls but know enough that this kind of sport is for sick kicks.

I'm against hunting in this country too.

Yes of course, ban bull-fighting, but please do go and take a look at what is happening in your local British slaughterhouse so you can buy your shrink-wrapped electrocuted chick that never saw the light of day, for minimum cost in the supermarket.

Extremely fair comment whiffey, however I do believe those chickens are for consumption, and not killed for so called 'sporting' enjoyment , so I'm afraid your argument doesn't stand.

I agree with B00 and zorro your argument isn't reallly the same- these people enjoy watching animals die in misery- we don't and i also don't eat chicken regularly because of all of a video i watched about battery chickens ; disgusting.
