What happened to the Provincial?

I think the bradford & bingley took them over not 100% though

Thanks andjac. I've got some old Provincial documents that I came across when my mother died so I'll try B & B and see if they know anything.

They appear to have been taken over by the Abbey National in 1996, but were in Bradford as well as the B & B at the time. The Abbey will certainly know if they still own them or if not, who does.

They were merged with the Burnley B.S..
They were eventually taken over by theAbbey B.S.
