cps review a case
How do i communicate with the CPS. i have retracted a statement from the police however the CPS still want to take the case to court, ive have a letter stating this, however no other communication for ten weeks, the case isnt for anougher nine weeks, i would like to communicate with the CPS with a view of them dropping the case as i was the only other person involved in this and dont want to press charges i cant see what the problem would be, a pre trial hearing is in four weeks, the charges are battering

I think the CPS are keen to punish domestic violence these day so they decide whether to persue a case or not, no matter if you have retracted your statement. This is precisely because this sort of thing would happen and a lot of time and money would be wasted when women took their men back and forgave them.
If he's prosecuted perhaps he'll think twice before using violence on you next time.
