Maybe people who are 'obese' aren't that way because they're lazy and slob around all day. Maybe they have a medical condition. I'm not saying all overweight people are 'ill' - far from it - I'm just saying don't tar fat people with the same brush.

I don't know how people can live with themsleves in a fat state! Unless, there is a medical reason, it is not actually difficult to remain in 'normal' proportions. You can't pick up a magazine without reading about clories, exercise, recepies, fat content of food and the like; so it beats me how the ignorance still remains. People are fat because they want to be. If they didn't want to be, they would ensure that they were well informed enough to do something about it...surely...or am I wrong. I am a size 10/12 and eat a balanced diet because I don't want to feel that sinking feeling when I pull up my jeans and they feel restrictive. I would love, absolutely love to stuff myself with chips, pizza, full fat coke, cakes, biscuits and sweets but I know I can't .....unless I want to be fat, which I don't, so I exercise a tad of self control. Not easy sometimes but I just do it!
By chance the Daily Mail {read before you dismiss] have an article called The Big Issue, sorry can't do link. This brings together the findings of various scientists regarding the causes of obesity.
Amongst the causes under investigation are the gender bending chemicals found in packaging and furniture, and a virus, the antibodies were found more in obese than thin people thus proving exposure to the virus.
To those of you so critical of the fatties the article quotes a study by the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota which found that those mildly obese had a better survival rates from heart disease than those considered whose BMI was considered to be normal.
Why when obesity rates are rising are our life expectancy rates also rising? and the experts predict that the life expectancy rates will continue to rise.
Can anyone explain why the Food Standards Agency are going to ban adverts for cheese, currants, raisins, sultanas and olive pil during childrens programmes yet allow adverts for malt loaf, currant buns, frozen roast potatoes and chicken nuggets, chicken curry ready meal and strawberries in syrup.

Big women,I like the size,
big women,flabby thighs.
Big women, big women....They fill my eyes.
oooh! a a ah!
Here they come, walking down the street,
big and bouncy,look so neat.
I like them best, between the sheets,
big women give me a treat.
Skinny wenches will not do,I need a big one to see me through.
I've gotta get some meat,to see me through the night,
in the morning I feel,alright!
Everybody needs a big bosom for a pillow.Chips rule!!!
