I really thought it would be one of those things that people would not vandalise as it brings enjoyment to so many. It seems very small minded and of course it can be fixed but its the bloody principal. Why damage something that children (and I) love so much.
With all due respect, I dont think so. Vandalism has always happened. I think people are less likely to get away with it than they used to, thanks to cctv.
Those boys served about as much time as an adult would have done. Prison after all is about rehabilitation, now of course, I wouldn't be happy about them living in my street but what are they were supposed to, let them out tell everyone who they are so they could be murdered by someone else. I was only 13 or 14 when it happened but I remember thinking those people throwing stuff at the vans that were taking them to court and back were acting inappropriately. I never know what to say about those kids cause as they were prime candidates for rehabilitation being such young offenders, or maybe they are just bad to the bone to have committed such an horrific crime at such a young age but lets face it they don't typify the "youth of today".
How do you suggest children should be punished? Is hitting them right, is it? It used to be ok to punch your wife when she didnt do as she was told or have your tea ready on time and having been an abusive relationship, I didn't like it much and would never raise a hand to my children.

Scuzzball`s obviously caught his d!ck in his zip, bless
What those 2 kids did was pure and utter evil, no doubt they`ve had councelling etc, but now they are free again, albeit under new identities
I would have been happier to see them serve longer sentences, I don`t believe you can rehabilitate someone who has done such evil as that at such a young age
