Current UK Laws

Is there anywhere on-line I can find a list of current UK laws and descriptions of what they encompass? I keep hearing on the news about laws being changed or people requesting changes in the law but I have never heard of anywhere that you can find a list of exactly what is currently illegal and what is legal.

All current and new legislation is available online at http://www.legislation.hmso.gov.uk/legislation/uk.
htm But the law is extremely complex, and I doubt whether anyone has ever attempted to make list of every unlawful act. As far as what is legal is concerned, then clearly this is everything which is not illegal.
