These people need to get a life and realise that no-one has some god given right to go through life without ever being offended by anyone else.

its their country, they can burn Gere's effigy if they like. They are no doing it in your back garden are they so dont act so sanctimonius. Have you even seen the footage of what he was doing. it was buttock clenchingly embarrasing. As for god given rights....they dont worship your god, they worship millions of gods (try getting your hrad round that one) and their god gives them the right to do as they please.

He is a victim of his own publicity (fame) and is obviously under the impression that every woman in the world is just gagging for a snog with him.
I'm sure I read somewhere that he was a follower of an eastern religion. Surely he understands the store that some nationalities set by appearances, and how they conduct thamselves in public.
There is no excuse for a grown man to act like a 15 year old boy , and to be honest, he actually looked as though he was getting excited.
Disgusting!

For those who fail to appreciate cultural difference, and think that they should "get a life and realise that no-one has [the] right to go through life without ever being offended by anyone else", should appreciate that, to many on the Sub-continent, this action is analogous to a guest getting his kn*b out on Blue Peter*.
Ok, we may not burn images in the street, but in our subjugated apathy, we might be so incensed with rage as to enact our culture's equivalent, and write a strong letter of complaint to our MP.
