Studying/Working in the USA
2 Answers
My daughter is 16 and intends working in Forensics particularly the criminial investigations side, (CSI has a lot to answer for! lol). She is going to college to do Applied Science for a year followed by a National Diploma in Forensic Science for 2 years and then hopefully a degree. She is very bright but unfortunately has been unwell for 21/2 years which is why she is doing 3 years at college instead of straight to the Forensics diploma.
She would like if possible to do her degree in the USA and then get a job there is this possible? Or should she do a degree here and then see if she can work over in the States.
She has had a really horrible couple of years and is now so positive about everything iwould hate to have to burst her balloon so any help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you.

I work in a UK university that has a high intake of US students because they believe that a UK degree is valued more highly than an American one. SO that's something to think about too.
I wish your daughter lots of luck and sounds like she has chosen a really interesting career path!
