The voices.
A man was at work one day, just going about his normal business when he heard a voice saying "Go home now, go home now". He looked around but could see no one speaking to him. But still he could here the voice "Go home now, go home now". Not wanting to appear mad by asking someone if they could here the voice, he decided to go home, just in case. When he got to the house, again he heard a voice "Go inside now, go inside now" He opened the door tentatively and went inside, the house was empty, as it should have been. Again came the voice "Go upstairs now, go upstairs now", which he did accordingly. At the top of the stairs he heard the voice again "Sell your home and all your possessions, sell your home and all your possessions" At this the man decides enough is enough and shouts out "No I will not listen to a voice in my head", and makes his way out. However the voice is unrelenting and for the next few days it continues "Sell your home and all your possessions, sell your home and all your possessions", until he can take it no more and agrees, at which point the voice stops. Over the next month the man sells off all his possessions, the last of which being his house. As soon as the man signs on the sale of the house, again comes the voice "Buy a ticket and go to America, buy a ticket and go to America", which he duly does. As soon as he gets to America, comes the voice "Go to a casino, go to a casino", an order which he again follows. Once in the casino the voice comes again "Put all your money on red, put all your money on red" Having gone this far, the man had no hesitation in putting all the money he has in the world on the red square. He watches as the wheel spins around and around and can't believe his ears as the croupier shouts out "7 Black". Again comes the voice "Oh, sorry".
