Shami Chakrabarti
Why is this "woman" (debatable) so popular with the British voting public with regards to influential figures etc?
1) She harps on about human rights, yet refuses to completely let go of her foul religion which tortures and beheads women who are adulterous.
2) She harps on about how corrupt British politics is, yet it didn't stop her becoming a home office barrister and affording a nice pad in London.
3) She harps on about our weak terrorists laws stressing they are too harsh. Makes sense considerring it was her ilk who bombed London in the first place.
4) Harps on about how evasive CCTV is.
Can anybody please tell me what good she has done? Being a lesbian loving Muslim woman, no company will ever turn her down for employment. I feel she is only voted for because the powers are scared of her.
I really do not like her, Whats your opinion?

3) I'm not convinced out terrorist laws are 'weak'. I believe that what she wants is a fair trial for suspected terrorists. Isn't that what British justice is all about - fairness and innocence until proven guilty?
4) Shes in good company - even senior police officers think it is too intrusive: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6673579.stm
"I feel she is only voted for because the powers are scared of her. " - may be some truth in this - she was voted number 10 in a poll on "who runs Britain" back in 2005.
My opinion - I can't say I like her - but I can't say I dislike her either.
And she is a muslim. I think you are getting confused by her being The British Hindu spokesman (I say man, because she wants to be one)
And she is a lezza. You are so blind to prehudice that you fail to realise even lezzzas can have kids.
I suggest YOU get your facts right before you start childish insults on an otherwise sensible thread matt66.
And to add, she was instrumental in banning the BNP from party election broadcasts (since been reverted). Whilst I do not support the BNP, they deserve a fair crack of the whip.
Yet at the same time she played a part in lifting the ban of Sinn Fein from the BBC.
Why oh why is everything she does against middle, white Britain?
I strongly susspect that those who suuport her are in minimum wage jobs, wear bipperty bopperty hats, and pretend to be vegetarian whilst secretly munching on bacon sandwiches. And for the women, bacon is not the only munch they desire.
Foul people.
Frankly, Joe-the-Lion, you are the one who portrays the characteristics of Johnny Foreigner when confronted by the reasonable utterances of solid citizens on AB, who remain proud of our freedoms and liberties and retain the dignity of a stiff upper lip in the face of your somewhat hysterical ravings about foreigners, religious minorities and lesbians.
However, I do accept you are AB's master wind up merchant and I have probably just jumped in with both feet, so if the jokes on me, good on yer, mate!
Mmmmmmmmmmm Elton John was married
Mmmmmmmm Denholm elliot was married
Mmmmmmm Martina Navaratolva was married
Mmmmmmmmm Russell Harty was married
Mmmmmmmmm I was married. Hang on I am straight!!!!
See my point?? Never assume. she only got married for political reasons.
I desire an enormous cake in the shape of a Skoda, and a wardrobe full of bipperty bopperty hats. I wonder whether Jim can fix it for me.
I apologize that this post is not quite in keeping with the original question but I need my two questions answered and couldn't think how to ask these without interrupting the thread. However such a generous spirit as you will excuse me no doubt.
Where can I buy bibberty bobberty hats - is this from a milliner near you or can I purchase them over the internet.
Secondly, are there a greater proportion of vegetarians who actually secretly eat meat, than meat eaters who secretly eat vegetables? Is this original research, who undertook it, has it been peer critiqued is it published?
Please let me know.
Let's have Islamic Law, public beheadings, and be done with it. Being gay myself however, I'd rather it didn't happen quite yet.
