What certiction should we have-re electrical/plumbing work
5 Answers
Having recently moved house we have had a lot of work done by a plumber and electrician.
Should we have been given a certificate to prove the work done is "done the right way / safe etc"
When we were buying we were asked for proof of work carried out properly.
Might not have worded this right!
Many thanks DD

Yes he was a registered electrician and has all the right qualifications....we must get back onto him and ask for the paperwork you suggest.
Our new property is an over 55s appartment and don't see ourselves moving again....but when it does come time to sell our family will need everything in order.
