reminds me of the incident years ago when there was an assassination attempt on the pope. Luckily they missed all his vital organs, they shot him in the nuts.
RB, when we used to go to visit my nan in Suffolk they had a `sweetshop` van come round..Shotters was his name...he barred me and my brother from going in there cos we were from London...the filthy carrott cruncher!
Hang on the back of the ice cream van??
Damn I missed out on that one!!
I can remember having the mobile green grocer.....and the pop man.
We also used to have one where you bought boxes of choc ices, ice lollies. etc. Me and my dad would join in with the long tunes it played just to wind my mum up :)
Every street had its Lardarse family...everyone used to stand there with a handfull of pennys waiting for a Fab,Screwball or Cornet...the Lardarses stood there with the washing up bowl..."Fill that up please"
