I too think that this was a despicable crime and I haven't heard from anyone who supports the practice. Perhaps if these people were refugees they should serve their time here then be deported
I think you might be getting two stories mixed up here.
The killer of that policeman a couple of days ago is reportedly an illegal immigrant, but in the case of the 'honour' killing, all the convicted were British citizens.
I think the point has already been made - the issue of 'honour' killing is a cultural issue, not a religious one.
Nowhere in the Muslim faith is killing family members sanctioned - but extremism is present in all cultures - as you can see from this thread - so it should be deplored where ever it is found - such as two responses in from the top for a start.
