Is Virgin's latest land-line phone offer a good deal or not?

They are offering talk anyhere for a set sum of �20 for 200 minutes, �28 for 400 minutes, and 800 minutes for �40 per month, this includes line rental.

One can call any land line, mobile, or international number, any time one likes.

A one off installation fee of �25 is needed to set it up.

Depends how many calls you make, I suppose.

I don't have a landline at all - I have Skype and a mobile I use very rarely.

I am on a VIP package with Virgin media. I get 20 meg broadband, unlimited phone calls ( landlines only ) and all the sky channels for �80.00 per month.
