Bush and Cheney to be impeached?
Plans are afoot in the US to impeach both Bush and Cheney because of the war in Iraq. Nearly 1,000,000 have signed up to the petition. Although taking place in America this will have a knock on effect in the UK. Do you agree with this petition?

Incidentally, Clinton got impeached simply for having an Affair (not messing up his job and starting a war that killed thousands of his own men). I hope Bush/Cheney get impeached real soon and are then promptly taken to trial and tried for war criminals (along with Blair of course).

I really hope they do get impeached. The wars they have started have been about nothing but oil, getting revenge for daddy's humiliation, and propogating capitalism at the expense of thousands of innocent people, both in America, Britain, Europe and the Middle East. And I do think there should be a knock-on effect here, and those responsible for our part in this reprehensible business should also be made to answer for their actions.
whilst i have never agreed with the current war the americans and the british are involved in i would be willing to believe that the motives for starting the conflict were good (if misguided) had it not been for the cronyisum with which the american government had conducted itself regarding the rebuilding and control of oil, worse still is the control of information regarding this conflict - i would like to see bush impeached on this matters i also can't see this happening any time soon
Campbell's diaries are bringing out some relevations. ie Cheney did not even want a 2nd resolution at the UN and Blair was the only one in No 10 and the cabinet who wanted to go to war in Iraq. I find it amazing no one else in the cabinet except Cook initially agreed to it. What does this say about government by consesus, were they frightened of losing their jobs?
