Now then me old Mucko, I have been visiting this site for roughly the past three years nearly everyday, and only very recently have I seen your name cropping up posting anything.

So my question to you is exactly how do you know anything about this anyway?

Hmmmm, yeah *turns spotlight to me old mucko* :oP

well well well sherlock......maybe i've been around longer than you think! i was the one in the trenchcoat at the arta bar he he! but - what about the question?
A convention sounds fantastic, no idea about plans sorry, I'm just shocked and horrified to learn that I've missed out on at least 2.5 years of answerbank. I've been kidding myself that it's fairly new & I can't have missed much!
far too many rebirths, pseudos and charlatans around these days, i been getting a fix on the tongue in cheek mucko too; u wouldn't catch me using pseudos its not cricket it balls.
i agree with xyzzy@bok
so do i :-)
yeah i agree with micko and macko.
of course i'm french why else do you think i have this outrageous accent?
maybe we could start an ABrecord for the most pseudos...

there's only 1 Mr Mucko! 1 Mr Mucko!..................the real reason that i have an 'alias' is that the username i used to use is no longer available! anyway............someone answer the question!!
There was an answerbank convention. I understand it was held in a Scottish telephone kiosk.
Stop it..!! Stop it at once..!! It's all getting extremely silly...!! :o)
AB conventions in the past have not exactly been an overwhelming success, but all the attendees agree that it's been very cheap to buy a round of drinks.
This thread arises periodically and it always amazes me! Why the ongoing interest?
I'm up for a convention - when, where and what time - i'll be there ; )
Last year, 4 people actually turned up, OK? It wasn't really so much a 'convention' as just a meet-up in a pub, and that's all it was intended to be, and we had a good enough time as it happens. I think the word 'convention' put people off. This year there was to be another 'meet up' (not called a 'convention' this time), and there were a few interested, but we couldn't agree on a date when we could all make it. It's not too late though. Suggestions welcome.
HAHAHA!!! Overwhelming success, nice one. 3 people turned up, two of which didn't want the other one there.
