Vladimir Putin - Hunk Of The Month???

Perhaps it's just me, but I think there's something quite strange in the President of the Russian Federation, Mr Vladmir Putin, stripping off for what can only be described as 'glamour photos'.

Do you think this is appropriate for the leader of a major industrialised nation?

Should we expect Gordon to pose in a thong for Heat? George W Bush in hotpants for Cosmopolitan?

Is this what we expect from our leaders?

Hmmm, the pictures are only of him relaxing.
Maybe they are propaganda, as its shows his 'other' side.
The guy is a great leader to many.
On another basis, i hear Gordon is posing for a non smoking ad. Apparently a hamlet cigar figurine is stood next to him and Gordon stumps him out.
George is apparentyl appearing in an ad also, but i wont go into detail on that one...

He looks more like a retired softcore porn star in the shot of him half-naked with the fishing rod.

They're most definitely posed. I certainly wouldn't say it was appropriate for a democratic leader. But Putin isn't a democratic leader...

It seems to me like a bit of Mussolini-esque posturing. And it's just as laughable.

With incomes in Russia rising by up to 10% per annum whilst Americans are deep in dept with unpaid mortgages he can aford to blow a raspberry at other nations. Maybe we should forget the postures but concentrate on what has got him where he is.

Strange, but interesting. I think he can just about get away with it.
Bush, may be drop dead gorgeous neck down, but I just can not get past the oh so off putting neck up. Brown, just not sure what sort of look he has under neath the baggy suit.

Thongs and hot pants. In my opinion not something to be embarked upon in public unless under the age of 40 and even then the body needs to be fit.

I currently can not visualize any world leader/politician that I would enjoy seeing dishabille, but that is probably an indicator of my lack of political nouce. Will give this some serious consideration.

During the last elections, Heat magazine printed a topless photo of Tony Blair on their 'Torso Of The Week' page (I'm not kidding here).

I can tell you that at that time, he was surprisingly fit.

He's lost it somewhat recently though.

He has moobs now.
