1. Madeline is dead! With all the worldwide publicity she would have been traced by now.
2. The McCanns are innocent! These two intelligent people would not have gone through this charade for months.
3. Abducted by a paedophile then killed. Possibly!
4. Wandered off and fell in trench which was filled in by workmen. Highly possible and plans are afoot to excavate the treches nearby.

how on earth could they conceal their daughters body for 25 days?they were under constant media and police scrutiny for weeks after her abduction so how could they dump her body anywhere without being seen?who rented the car prior to the mcanns?they are being framed by the portugese police to cover their own incompetant handling of the case and they want the case out of the headlines asap.lets not forget that a poor innocent 4 year old is missing presumed dead, someone, somewhere knows something and they must be evil not to put the family out of their misery.
As crazy as it seems, I'm finding much comfort from this website about Madeleine:

It does give me a glimmer of hope that she is still alive.
And no, I do not believe her parents killed her nor do I believe the police. Seems a bit "staged" by someone who may have the child or by someone who wants to frame the parents.

I don't believe that they did it... impossible in my opinion, but I don't believe they are being framed either. How would the police be able to plant evidence, they would have to have her body in which to take evidence off!
I'd love to see a paper or media channel that actually sticks to facts! Oh no... nobody would watch it... not exciting enough... am I right?

According to other guests in the same holiday block, Kate has a very short temper and was always screaming at the kids when putting them to bed, and Maddie was heard crying for Daddie,(I don't mean just once) who seemed to be always by he pool or the bar. Maybe he is innocent, as I do feel it was all a dreadful accident.
My two cents...
I felt that Kate was remarkably calm throughout all this. I dont know many mothers that wouldnt be so horrifically distraught at the idea that their child could be taken, let alone if it actually happened. Perhaps she was medicated to calm herself?
We all, who have children, know how they can push our buttons when they are that age where they are too old to always accept being told and too young to reason with. Add that to frustration that you are trying to spend the evening with friends and had copious amounts to drink and the heat.....potential for a posible fatal accident? or accidental over sedation (though unlikely unless they carry meds on holidays?)
When I left my 12 year old son, I was told by my doctor that he was really too young to be left on his own in my house. Here, there are qualified professionals, leaving 3 children under 4, alone in a property in another country. They were, if they are to be believed, too far from the place to notice someone taking a child from their apartment, or hear it screaming at being woken up and taken, or notice her (in this case) leaving the property and wondering off in a place where she (maddie) may not be able to find an english speaking person to help her. IMO they were not watching their children, they had left them alone. That alone makes them responsible. If I left my child and something happened to him, social services would hold me responsible and I would be in a 'negligence' situation.
The fact DNA has been found in the hire car is too suspicious for me. Hair in the boot well? Im pretty sure that this model has a carpet and a sound reduction layer before even getting to the boot. Unless they changed the tyre and cleaned the childs hairbrush it is impossible for hair to get there!
She washed the teddy. Seems a strange thing to do. That teddy would have smelled like her child, even after coming back from the police. Unless they soaked it with chemicals etc?

Any mother can smell her child from the smallest things. to wash that away, seems bizarre to me.
I propose that the during the panic of ppl looking for to abducted child, they would not have looked in simple places, tumble dryers, freezers, etc.
It may have been more likely, due to the media attention, that the body had already been hidden somewhere like that.
It would have been difficult with the cameras on them, but not impossible to put a frozen body into the spare wheel well. We are talking the small body of a child afterall.
I have read things about the catholic church and its ability to justify, perhaps not the act of murder but certainly covering it up, perhaps for the sake of the other children who would be raised in the catholic church.
Im still thinking on all that.....
Perhaps though, the police there just want to make sure they are shown to be competent and have set them up
