Cadburys going to Poland!!! Is nothing sacred????
Is there anyone left there (Poland) to make it?
whoa... arent they making 200 people redundant....?

that would make sense as they're now all over here working!
with this government you have to expect all manufacturers to leave and go to poland (or equiv cheapo country)

but never mind as long as everyone's houses are worth ridiculous money, people continue to take out loans and live off credit, no one will worry about manufacturing's demise...

i agree with all your answers especially youngmablog, that just what i thought!
It already has a site in Poland lol so you're probably already eating Polish made chocolate.
it will take three times as long to make

and taste nasty

slippery slope for cadbury

i get mine direct from cadbuys so i know ita made in good old brum! i think thaey are doing wrong by taking it abroad
Gina its the same as the HP factory.

I blame the monkey and phil collins
Oh nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!x
If you buy it direct from the factory that is no guarantee it was made there.

Cadbury have a big distribution centre just a few miles away, where both imported and uk chocolate stocked.
Keynsham. Now there's a place imprinted on my memory from 50 years back. The Radio Luxembourg advert every night of the week for Horace Bachelor, whose address was: "Dept One, Keynsham, spelled K_E_Y_N_S_H_A_M, Keynsham, Bristol." It certainly put the area on the map. Possibly the most effective radio advert of its generation. Ask your parents about the advert.
I'm guessing they'll still be making it the same way.

That being the case I'll still quite happily eat my flake with pralines every now and then.

Happily unconcerned about this news story.

actually ethel i DO know thats its made there
Not if my experience of Terrys is anything to go by. Every year since I was a small child I have got a Terrys Chocolate Orange for Christmas (amongst other things!) but a couple of years ago when Terrys moved out of York to somewhere abroad I really noticed the difference. I now don't care if I never have another Terrys Chocolate Orange as long as I live.
Cadburys chocolate tastes like cak anyways. Its all sugar and fat, which is probably why my dad likes it. Not really much to mess up, it doesn't seem to be a delicate process to make it in the vast quantities that they do. I'm sure it will taste just fine.

Twirls and flakes are great GS so nur!

However my favourites are ferreo rochets which I can not spell for love of money and butterscotch green and blacks. Hmmmmm.
Green and Blacks chocolate is yummy. I like the orange one. You only need a few bits of it too and doesnt give me that massive sugar rush headache that cadburys gives me. I switched to better chocolate years ago after a problem with double deckers. I loved them but they would make me pue straight after and sicked up nougat is foul. Like vomiting a slug, with crunchy bits.
Ta for that mental image love.

I'll treasure it.
