Silly question am sure - presumably action affects this category of post too ? - am waiting on visas and passports from Tanzanian Embassy - not panicking yet - quite !

Apperntley if any mail needs to be posted it should be done @ the post office as it has more chance of getting to it's destination, so if your parcel has been posted out via post office maybe it'll get 2 u all right. Sorry i know thats not a great help but it's all anyone seems to know!

Its all mail that is effected. Special Delivery and Recorded Delivery. Apparenetly DHL are charging �135 for next day delivery on it's letters (talk about taking advantage.

I would give them a ring and consider collecting them yourselves if possible. Thousands of items of post are going to go missing.
