Is an ASBO enough to stop this man being a menace? Should he have been ordered to attend rehab as well?
I don't think the ASBO will stop him as alcoholics don't really think logically.

He deserves to die after what he has done, and I hope it is soon.

He does need rehab and this is a prime example of care in the community failing everybody. He obviously has some sort of mental health issues.

If I were crippled in a car crash I honestly don't know how it would affect me mentally. I don't think I could live with a colostomy bag to be frank.

The threat was there however, and a pre-emptive strike, as in any assault will suffice.

I am not completely familiar with the ASBO procedure, but I would have thought as with most criminal dealings he has to be of sufficient intellect and soundness of mind to be served one.
