I know this sounds petty, but, I've been having a few (well lot) of problems in my life. Over the last, say, 3 years. Anyway, I'm working through them, I'm finally getting there, and I'm proud that I've survived, as lame as that sounds.
Basically, there are friends I've lately realised are not friends at all, they're stirrers and have never been entirely honest with me. Anyway to cut a long story short I've deleted them from my facebook - I don't need the hassle, don't want the hassle and they're not real friends, so why have them on my facebook?
Since then people who are mutual friends, have been saying how upset there people are that I deleted them, saying they've been slagging me off. I don't need this. I know stuff about the deleted people that would really change peoples opinions, but I don't think it's fair to say what I know, as, well, I'm not nasty. The deleted people I've come to realise are not nice people, they're manipulative, users and just not people I want in my life right now.
I know it's only a small thing, facebook isn't my life, but it's difficult when mutual friends are being dragged in. Like seriously, it'sjust an online community! No big deal! Only they're making it! So, should I accept them back as friends or not? Tell people what they're really like or not? I'm just so stressed and I don't need it, I have other stuff to work through.

i find there are many two faced people online.
fortunately ive only been online 18months but the tales ive heard of the last 3 years show that its just the way people are online.
problem is folk try to portray themselves as theyd like others to see them.
rather than as they really are.
ditch them im sure youre a much better person without them. : - )

You deleted them from facebook because you realised they were stirring and b!tchy so why are you now bothered that they are stirring and b!tching about the fact thet you've deleted them? You knew what they were like, that's why you took the actions. Forget about them, tell mutual friends you don't want to discuss it if they bring it up. People can't be dragged into things, they choose to be involved so stop worrying about it.
you've done absolutely the right thing, Princess, so no need to go backwards. If mutual friends ask, just say mysteriously 'I have my reasons' or 'Just trust me on this'. It's your facebook and you have absolutely no obligation to keep anyone else on it unless you want. Sounds like your instincts are good: go with them.
Princess, well done for taking the strength and courage to work through your problems, takes guts to do that. This year has been one of the worst in my life but im still there kicking and screaming. Never give up, keep maybe 4 close friends, not many people have more true friends than that, they are the ones who will always be ther for you
