Amputated limb battle reaches final leg
A television judge has ended a bizarre custody battle over an amputated leg that was accidentally sold at auction hidden inside a barbecue oven.
John Wood, whose leg had to be cut off near the knee after a plane crash in 2004, had kept the limb because he wanted to be cremated "whole" when he dies.
Falling on hard times, Mr Wood, from South Carolina, was forced to sell his possessions but forgot to remove his leg before parting with his barbecue smoker.
Shannon Whisnant, who bought the oven, found the leg inside and later had it embalmed.
Are you as pleased as I am that this case has finally been resolved?

Gromit
You truly deserve an award over and above stars. Not only can you be trusted to almost daily provide news posts, you now provide follow ups. Will this be a service avaiable to all of your posts, can we request updates on threads no longer on the first page, is there a time limit on how far you will go back?

Young lady
the Gromit Appreciation Society is most certainly not your backside, however attractive that may be. It is an exclusive membership (possibly single membership only) where only good taste is allowed, certainly it does not include ladies who express profanities and consume white wine into the early hours of the morning.
Consider yourself excluded.
