30ac: _ REER:
One creating 'Libert et Fraternit' could give it this, Tante?
Is the answer FREER? I'm not quite sure why it should be.
9dn: PER_IN_ :
A side-step by Jonny W, maybe? Very precise.
I assume the allusion is to the rugby player Jonny Wilkinson and fancy PERJINK as the answer to this, but I'm unhappy about some aspects of the solution. Any thoughts?
27ac: HA_TE:
Dispatch conveys latest from front line.
HASTE is what comes to mind. Again, if this is right, why?

Sorry, guys, having a bad week and the brain isn't quite on the case!

These are the same three that I have been hesitating over.

9d I'm sure is Perjink (finical/precise) Jink being side step and presumably Per (by) J (Wilkinson) - bit weak.

Freer OK . Thus "FREER IT TANTE" creates "ET FRATERNITE" .
9dn is PERJINK (scottish for "very precise")

PER = a (as in "penny a go") + JINK (side step)
Latest (letters) from front line are T and E onto HAS (conveys). Glad I don't do this one!

Thanks for the explanations and for confirming the answers. I must say I found some of the clueing a bit tenuous this week. I don't know that I've got the energy to submit an alternative clue for 28 ac!
