recording from myspace

hi i was wondering if anyone knew how you could record using a computer of myspace. eg. there's a band i like on myspace and i can't get their music anywhere. can i download something that will record what's playing on myspace to a mp3 type file?

You require a (free) audio stream recorder such as the fully fledged audio editing app Audacity...

There are other apps with fewer features which may be simpler to use if audio stream capture is all you require.

Just to be a boring killjoy, but if the band hasn't offered the track for download on Myspace it means they don't want you to download it! There are serious copyright issues at stake here.

Have you tried asking them through Myspace if you can download or buy their music anywhere?

I have an artist page on Myspace (for an artist I manage) and we sell CDs on the internet. Another fan page offered the artist's tracks for download which potentially damaged our sales.

I don't want to get into that whole debate now, but I'm sure this band would love to tell you where you can buy their music. If you ask and they don't get back to you, then that's another matter!
