Anyone had problems with delays from debenhams?
I ordered my mums xmas pressies from there on the 7th dec, received an email on the 10th saying they had been dispatched.
I emailed debenhams enquiry email (only email given) on the 14th to ask if they could advise when i may see item or if there was a tracking number.
Finally got an email back on the 15th. Unfortunately its an automated email saying that they will reply within 7 days! Fat lot of good that is when I am travelling to my parents tonight with their gifts!

2nd number couldnt help but transfered me to web team. Web team said my order is on the system but couldnt help and promised to call back after speaking to a supervisor.
That was at 11.30am, Its now 4.30 and ive not heard a thing.
Am not best pleased now as it looks as if the order is lost somewhere.

I had problems with them when I ordered a bridesmaid dress for my wedding. It said it was in stock on the website, but when it didn't turn up, I discovered that it was out of stock, and they had been trying to get hold of one from somewhere else, but one was never found. I had similar problems with my edding list. Guests were allowed to buy things on the website, even when people had already bought it (which shouldn't happen).At one point I checked it, and 3 guests had all bought the ame thing, which ended up not even being in stock!!
I think Debenhams use their own delivery drivers, so I wouldn't think your item is lost in the post...probably sitting in the warehouse, fogotton in a corner somewhere! Goo dluck!

well the 10 day delivery window expired Mond night at 8pm so I couldnt call them back til then.
Theyve admitted its missing and i can now re-order but they havnt got everything in stock now.
Ive told them i want a refund immediately and that will now take up to 3 days to process as well.
so annoyed.

hello, i am probably hanging myself out to dry here...i work for debenhams head office, 08445616161 the number your probably all dialed, ok first off we use a courier service called DHL for deliveries or if the itme is small enough royal mail, dhl will not allow use to track a item until until 10 working days (not saturday or sunday) if you place a order after 2.30pm the chances are the order wont be dispatched until next day, we have constant problems with the courier service and we always do our best to help over the christmas period we have been told 5-7 workin days as of late that has been correct,,,,,,if you order from the web it's debs direct 08456055044 if your order number begins 500 then it's 08445616161, all our call advisors do there very best to help you all but the courriers tie our hands with the 10 working day rule, i hope that helps and i hope you got your gift in time
