Probe into X Factor votes

Fans claim that Rhydian was robbed in the X Factor final that was held on Saturday. TV watchdog Ofcom is probing the case that fans claimed they could not get through to vote for the Welsh singer. Some radio stations in Wales have even banned Leon's single in protest. What do you think? Should we not let it go? Both Leon and Rhydian will end up stars? And ITV have said they monitored calls all night and could not see any problems? Was he robbed?

No he wasn't robbed - Leon deserved to win.

It's pathetic that the Welsh radio stations have banned Leon's song,

I think the X-factor has had it's day anyway, this series was the worst of the lot!

Yes it is true that a lot of the radio stations in Wales have refused to give Leon`s record airtime.I tried to get through from when the voting lines opened until they closed. NO LUCK.

didnt a similiar thing happen last year, where a lot of votes werent counted, for whatever reason, although it wasnt brought to light until we heard about all these phones cons earlier this year. like has been said many times x factor has had its day.

I think this is a case of sour grapes, and Scot bashing again!!!! I voted for Leon but had to try for ages before I got through, so the reason people couldn't get through was that the lines were busy. Get over it!! Rhydian was always going to get a recording contract anyway, so both of them get a chance. I happen to think both are good entertainers in their own way and as a Scot supported both and would have been happy what ever the outcome. I think Rhydian will probably become a big name on the west end stage, which is what he really wants anyway.

It happens every year - Gareth Gates fans were saying the same thing a few years back when Will Young won.

They will both be successful anyway hopefully so what's the problem?

I rooted for Rhydian all the way through the series but in the final, did change my mind to Leon. He will be the more successful in the pop charts - which surely this competition is about. Rhydian will be very sucessful in other fields but I couldn't see him in the top ten once his debut single had gone.

Leon will disappear shortly I'm sure! He's absolutly murdered mariah carey's when you believe! I personally feel sorry for Leon, think hes a nice guy!! PLEASE DONT MAKE THIS SONG XMAS NUMBER ONE!!!!!!! Rhydian was my favourite and Im so glad that he didnt win as he would have been tied to that contract!! He's the true star and is destined for bigger and better things!! Hopefully Leona Lewis will disappear very soon, cant stand that song 'keep bleeding'! RAH! I have to turn the radio or tv over when its on! If she keeps bleeding she should get a band aid or bleed to death!! Jesus!!!!

The only people to have been robbed are the people voting and buying the 'Christmas' song.

Will there ever come a day when the great unwashed realise that they have little or no impact in the outcome of such things, whether they vote or not? Surely even politics shows us that. It beggars belief.

If you feel really affronted and feel that Cowell really has enough money now, then don't vote and if you have any morals whatsoever, don't buy that blinking record.

PMSL@ GLPBlondie! nice one!! although I do like Leona, and although I thought Rhydian should have won, Im pleased for Leon as I know that the Riddler definately has a great career ahead of him so who cares if it was fixed I recon in the end all have done well... as for the x-factor.. I think its run its course... bring back britain has talent... more variety of people rather than just singers

All these shows should stop having phone in votes.The panel are well enough paid to give the result .When the public vote (excuse to get money to make these programmes) there is alway some sour grapes .Lets have the people on the panel select the winner .Would the panel leave the result on their performance up to the public . I,d vote if I thought it would result in some of these so called experts getting a day job

I spent the whole show trying on a landline (virgin media) to phone and never got one of the 19 times I tried. Its very odd as it was ok on my MOBILE.....FIX.
