KFed is really looking wonderful isn't he? he has come out of it all not only richer, but also the sole carer of his kids..which will probably bump his maintenance up too.

I can see why this has been reported in the press ~ however I don't think publishing the photos of Britney in the ambulance was right at all.

I know the Paps would have made a fortune out of those, as the public love to see a celebs downfall. The things folk do for money, eh?

I'll bet my next week's wages that the media hype that was built up around her was cleverly orchestrated by her management team and record company. And now she's having problems that same machine just can't be stopped - it's the price you pay for fame. Also, you may not like her ex, but it seems he's being a responsible parent, unlike that poor girl who clearly has a substance addiction problem (she was taken to hospital because she was under the inluence of an 'unknown' substance, and that whilst in charge of the children.)

I agree with whickerman on the kfed subject. Have you seen him falling out clubs showing his privates or heard reports of drugs and drink problems. He might come accross as a bit of an arse but he appears to be looking after his 2 young children and is probably the only much needed stable thing those poor things have in their lives. She needs serious help though and to be well and truly left alone my the media so she can get on with getting better. I think it's all got a bit sick to be honest. But it just goes to show that people love to watch the demise of others. It's sad.

Apparently KFed isn't a 'model' parent according to several sources (his ex etc) however his shenanigans are not deemed to be 'as bad' as Britneys... :o~

She may well be being made an example of. After all, most custody cases and contact issues are weighted heavily on the mothers side. For too long there have been kids brought up with unstable mothers..simply because the courts believe that the mother is the best person to raise a child.

When I see the state of that poor girl I just want to give her a cuddle, not pour recriminations upon her. She was too famous too young and without a safety net surrounding her when it all went wrong - as it surely did.

I truly hope she gets proper loving help and guidance before another young life is either lost or ruined for ever. My heart breaks for her.

My thoughts entirely Wicks & Cetti.... I can't imagine what she must going through wanting to hold & cuddle up to her little sons, but knowing that her ex & the powers that be are against her. She should be given more time to 'try' to kick her drug addiction, then spend some supervised time with her children until she's ready to cope again - but certainly not to have them taken away from her.....that is so cruel.

There seems to be a trend for child stars hitting problems in adulthood. i don't know BS's own case but many child stars are hothoused by pushy parents and it destroys their formative years and they end up going off the rails.

I do feel sorry for her and certain websites that should know better were yesterday talking of her holding her children hostage - a ludicrious overstatement to describe a mother who tried at the last minute to stop her children being taken away.

I don't believe it was part of some publicity stunt, as others have suggested. There's a certain warped kudos to binging on drinks, drugs and sex. But not bad parenting,

britney could go to ground whilst she gets her head straight , she has only herself to blame , just because she is a woman , it don't make her a good natural mother , anyway "stars" have babies and then they get nannys in , if she can't be trusted with the kids for a couple of hours she is well away with the fairies,

Blunt answer from Baileybird but I have to agree. She has courted press attention and must accept the bad with the good. I think it is absolutely right that her children have been taken away. In this situation the children's needs must come first and they are not safe with her and probably never will be. They are innocent children and deserve more.

At the end of the day she is a human being, who was cynically cultivated as a sex object at the age of 15 by a multi billion pound industry with their morals in the sewer. These people do not care about anyone's troubles, and have if you liked programmed her to be the ****** unfortunate unhappy girl she is now because it sold them lots of records.
Now that the pressure is too much for her, there is no-one there whose 'normal' to point her in the right direction and give her some good advice, because other drug riddled celebrities with exactly the same problems as her, are really not going to do that.
We should pity the poor girl and show some fcking compassion, she's lost her kids because her grasp on reality has become understandably tenuous, and cheap she may be, but it's cheaper of us to take pot shots at someone in need of help and sympathy.

I too don't agree at all with the idea that the incident was carefully planned by her management.

Look into that poor girl's eyes in those pictures, sheer terror and pain.
She just looks so lost.
I do feel sorry for her, I hope she gets all the help she needs.

these folk know exactly what they are doing

i have no sympathy - only for those kids

her husband seems to have some sense and hopefully the systems will see fit to let him look after his kids properly.
and what about all the chances she has had to get straight?
i do have compassion but not for someone who has had chance after chance, flashes her fanny to all ( there's one for the playground and family album) and doesn't help herself.
I admit i do knot KNOW this person, but none of us do. We all choose to interpret from the mags and tabloids what we will of this situation. I choose to neither like or care for this girl.
