So we need to jail loony muslim plotters with pictures of guns for 20 years ?Now its not that long ago we had our own home grown terrorists.Remember the brighton bombing? The hyde park band stand? The bomb in manchester city center? The bomb in warrington ?Where are the terrorists and their friends?Walking the streets of britain free most of them. Some of them commited bombings murders etc and never served 20 years .Are we getting things out of perspective or is it because they werent muslims or even considered foreigners? How many soldiers and civilians killed by them?Compare it to muslim terrorists in the uk.Well?Any thoughts or views?

As for where they are now, many of them (or, at least their leaders) are members of the Northern Ireland Assembly which was restored last year after four and a half years of argument about its future.
The lesson: Create enough carnage and mayhem, kill enough people and threaten to kill a lot more, and we'll accede to your demands and give you a post in government.

I think its common knowledge there were beatings etc if not carried out by the army then condoned. An i think john stalker said there was a shoot to kill policy.Thats detracting from the fact things arent over yet there. And hasnt it been reported ira bombmakers have traded bombmaking training with terrorist in middle east in the past for weapons and explosives ?
Really 4GS?
I take it January '72 was before you time was it? - well lets put Bloody Sunday to one side.
Here's a list of the people killed just by baton rounds in Northern Ireland all but one civillians.

Not to mention tipping off reublican paramilitaries
Now I'm not saying there wasn't just as much or worse violence on the other side.
Just don't come the White Knight
