I have said it before and I will say it again, I love the entries by henrys.

They are always short and polite and very to the point. Then he disappears and returns in three or four days with another short and polite question.

I picture a retired man around the 62 years with a country cottage and a Volvo. A proud man with quite a large extended family and would not feel uncomfortable wearing a neckerchief.

Balding with grey locks, a little portly around the belly with a broad, typically English grin and half moon spectacles.

An avid reader of The Guardian with The Daily Mail as a more mild relief with Radio 4 on the wireless.

A Tory voter at heart but not a Thatcher fan. And before retirement served as middle management in the Civil Service.

A popular man at the local village pub, he keeps abreast of the cricket and has two pet cats.
