Yes -a Man calls on God and we all think he's bonkers. So much for Religion.
Anyone who uses a 2 engined aircraft to cross the Atlantic must be bonkers!

Your comment reminds me of my first visit stateside

I recall we were waiting in the departure lounge - so I thought i would go and have a look at our plane ( I knew it was an airtours plane )

There was I looking for a big 4 engined beast ( afterall we were about to cross the atlantic )

I recall my shock , when what i saw , was a titchy 2 engined plane on the tarmac - Surely we wern't going over the atlantic in a 2 engined plane I exclaimed .

incidentally , are you saying you wouldn't cross the atlantic , or a similiar journey in a 2 engined plane ? - as this is now normal due to the reliabilty of aircraft engine nowadays
The plane that crashed at Heathrow rececently was a 2 engined plane which added to many peoples fears. A four engined plane would probably not have crashed.
It was not engine failure so 4 engines would be just the same. It was the response the pilot got when he tried to get more thrust.
I feel much safer on 4 wheels than 2.
