Remove muslims from politics.
69 Answers
Should all muslims be removed from the electoral register. This would effectively bar them from politics in this country because you have to be on the list to stand for parliament.
The fact that a muslim MP talks to his terrorist friend is I believe, the thin end of the wedge. They need to be nipped in the bud now.

How are ordinary, decent people going to recognise them on the street? Perhaps some sort of identifying badge will work? A bright yellow star would be pretty visible, so that gets my vote. Probably best to make sure that they don't manage to infect our bloodline though, so a few laws here and there to ban relationahips between Muslims and people of other faith should be introduced. Perhaps a grade of citizenship should be introduced so that we give proper British people more rights, and the muslims less? We'll call these the Nuremberg Laws for want of a better name (it's pretty catchy though isn't it?).
I want to ease people into this, but to be honest it's not going to be quick enough for good old Lucy and me, so a couple of years later we'll have a good old night of smashing glass and knock down the mosques and Muslim owned businesses. We'll probably take the Muslims themselves off to some sort of camp or other. Some people might complain but if we just deny it ever happened we should be alright.

my goodness theres some crazy people out there just because your 'muslim' doesnt make you a terrorist, do you think all muslims should be put into concentration camps as they are a danger to society?. I have to agree with pickle these are exactly the views the nazis had on jews, gypsies, jehovahs witnesses, and the mentally handicapped. I really think you should take a trip to your local mosque and meet some of these 'terrorists' for yourself!.
In that case, report the question Supernick. However, this is a topic for debate. I've already made my own points further back in the thread. Lucy hasn't actually made a racist comment, in my view. Her first paragraph merely asks if Muslims should be removed from the electoral register, which would effectively bar them from politics. She doesn't say that she agrees with this one way or the other. The second paragraph is stating what Lucy sees as a point of debate. If an MP talks to a terrorist - does it mean that they ALL do, or to more than one? All Lucy's done is to suggest that this should be stopped. That is her view, and one which a great many people'd agree with.
Sorry, but this is one of the thickest posts I've seen since... well, the last thick post.
Remember the Nail Bomber. Fully paid up neo-Nazi right-winger. You remember! He started trying to blow up black and jews and homosexuals.
Other right-wing 'skinheads', many of them with links to political parties, have been known to target the homes of ethnic minorites, beat up lone black and Asian males, and set up hooligan factions within groups of football fans, causing mayhem at home and especially abroad.
Surely, Lucy, the answer is to prevent extreme right-wing candidates from standing in elections? And ban those with far-right leanings from voting. Not just those with criminal convictions but any with anti-immigrant sympathies.
So that's the BNP and UKIP out, and half of the Tory party. Who's next? Who should we allow to vote?
Do you understand how democracy works?

Not being on the electoral register would not stop anyone, muslim or otherwise from being involved in politics in the UK.
If you are scared (you lot seem to be permanently in fear) of them taking over parliament and declaring Sharia Law, let me reassure you, they couldn't even field a 5-a-side football team, their number in the commons being just four persons.

I wouldn't want the muslim surgeons who've successfully operated on me in the past, to be removed from the electoral register - some other patients might just lose out!
Anyway - surely you don't mean all muslims, just the terrorists & ones that maim & kill?!

Ice Maiden - The insinuation that all Muslim men and women are terrorists who want to kill people is good enough for me to call those opinions racist. It was followed up with a 'Desperate times call for desperate measures' statement which would seem to confirm that the statement in her question was what she believed in. That is a racist belief.
