Since he is the Archbishop of Canterbury he is expected to be pious,he has facial hai so yes he is bearded.

Being the leading figure of the Church of England that would be in the eyes of many an important role so I fail to see how he can be described as a "no mark."

It is the various media that have chosen to report his comments and Radio Four invited him to a radio broadcast, he has not forced them to do so.

As for Him making the headlines, I do not recall God being mentioned but I may be mistaken.

What the questioner is saying is that it is a real shame that the entourage that Rowan rolls is so deep that he, as the leader, gets such a large audience via the media.

At least he refrained from saying that "God" decreed it therefore his view is absolutely correct. As no doubt he would have done had he lived in years gone by.

At least today it is only the heads of these organisations are heard rather than every lay-priest.
