Possibly Mickey Mouse, but I understand they had been manufacturing gas fires for at least 15 to 20 years. They still feature on many sites googled on the internet (although I hope they are not really supplying these (unsupported) fires !!.
They were also sold by around 50% of the gas fire showrooms we visited before buying. I suppose if we knew then that they were going to go bust we would not have bought this fire. But then with that sort of pre-cognition, we would not have needed a fire as we would have been living in the bahamas or somewhere, exchanging visits with Beckhams and so on. Anyway. thanks for the info. re gas-on-spares. I have visited their site and got their contact info, and I will contact them. I do not know what spare is needed, ( possibly a solenoid). If they can supply Trident spares, then I will notify the shop where I bought the fire, then they can fault find and attempt to obtain the required spare from gas on spares.
