Help with changing screen resolution on Windows Vista
1 Answers
Hi,
I have just logged on to my home PC to find the screen resolution changed on the computer. The screen was the size it has been, and then the screen went black and it changed to a smaller resolution with the icons being massive. When going on Control Panel - Personalise Display Settings, there is one screen which tells me it is a Generic PnP Monitor on Intel (R) 82945G Express Chipset Family. Under resolution, I only have two options: Low=800x600 and High=1024x768. I cannot chose a setting in between. Also, there is a new icon in my tray at the bottom right hand corner of the desktop called 'Intel Graphics Media Accelarator Driver'. This is new and we have not installed it. I have tried to delete it but it wont let me.
Can someone help me on how to change the screen resolution, and on how I can remove the new icon?
Thanks alot.
