cats in china
6 Answers
hi pastfreak, i spoke to my mum the other day, noone seems heard about that news, after i checked chinese website, i googles and found the same news, but exactly same article with the one people read on dailymail, only in chinese version. i dont think people really abandon their cats, maybe few tradigic cases happened, but not represented the whole situation.
one thing is true tho, most of people specail pregnant women have been told in China that pets could carry bateris and affect the baby.
anyway, my cat is still happily happily scratching my sister's sofa now:)

pastafreak, no worries, it reminded me to say hi to my cat anyway. i left home for 5 years, so he doesnt really know me now anyway.
i do feel lots people not really responsible to their pets in china, recently i was on a forum and found lots overseas students who are living or studying in UK posted there, they are looking people to adopt their dogs or cats, i dont understand why they decided to get a pet in firstplace if they know they are not settling down here yet. only can hope thos animals good luck and could get a new home.
