Can Boris' new haircut win the election for mayor?
In the absense of any decent new policies, the Tories have launched a rebranded new Boris Johnson for his bid to be elected Mayor of London.
In an attempt to de-buffoon the great man, they have given him a new haircut. Gone is the mad, unkempt mass of straw that we have all come to love, and in is a new groomed mane (ala Michael Hestletine).

He doesn't seem to get a look in with the national press so I rather imagine that's the same in London too.

Unfortunately Boris has chosen not to focus on proper politics.
In a city facing growing knife crime, huge environmental concerns, Olympic development and the opportunity to transform itself into the leading city in the world, I can't believe the amount of time he spends talking about 'bendy buses'.
