Anyone out there still believe Princess Diana was deliberately bumped off? I do, but don't ask me how or why - it's just a gut feeling.

Driver was drunk. Papperazzi chasing at high speed being a danger. Tragic accident. End of.
Nope! Trouble is that for many she was regarded as some sort of saint and therefore not prone to the everyday risk of being killed in a speeding car which was being driven by an over the limit driver!! Hopefully this will be an end to it, however............
If the driver was sober, driving within the speed limit and Princess Diana was wearing a selt belt then she would not have died.

I don't see why conspirers would choose such an unreliable method.

After ten years I really couldnt care less. Wish they'd stop going on about it, accept the verdict and move on
i've always maintained that it was a fortuitous accident for the "powers that be".

I bet they couldnt believe their luck when this accident happened.
Saved them the bother of putting into action any "arrangements" they had to get rid of her, there was no way in a gazillion years they would let her bring a muslim into the royal family.

murder in my opinion
I don't think she was bumped off, but there is loads of new material for the conspiracy theorists to go at.

The Coroners suming-up was highly biased. There were people perjuring themselves all over the place. There were people who didn't have to attend the hearing.

Don't expect this to go away.
I didn't ever reguard her as a saint but I reguard Charles and Camilla as two poeple who are untrustworthy and capable of anything to get their own way. He is commander in chief of certain areas of the armed forces.
The secret services of this country are just like any other. Capable of lieing. Every man has his price including the coroner of this inquiery.
Lets face it, to prserve the crown the royal family can afford any price.
Say what you will about the woman the British public will never know the truth and I hope Charles never becomes King and I hope that ratbag Camilla never gets her wish.
To become Queen.

and ...prince phillip is the head of the freemasons in the country...

i wonder if some little secret handshake thingey might have bought off judges and jurors?

PS - for the record I think there is something odd about all of this...and have my doubt whether it was an accident. But we will never know. By the way I wasn't even a Diana fan(I think she came across as incredibly manipulative)
well it seems that spaced does! even though he/she is offerring no explanations.

Get with thje program spaced, do you think if it was murder they'd not have found a more reliable method, a car crash is not exactly 100% certain death especially if she'd have belted up! I bet you're one of those idiots that thinks the 2 towers where dynamited and that the titanic wasn't!

I'm with baz on this, for the establishment it was indeed a bit of luck.
sounds like a hit by Phil da Greek and his mob to me ... their usual MO... spike the driver's drinks... fix the seatbelts so they don't work... hire a few paparazzi as agents provocateurs... Of course it's unreliable, but so what? They could always have tried again
It'll never be over for the conspiracy nutters, because they always have a further angle to go at. Already we are hearing about the coroner being "bought" etc. There are undoubtedly unanswered questions but even if there were not if the answers conflict with the theorists beliefs then they must be fabricated some how. Of course at the top of your conspiracies you always have the guys producing books DVD's etc making fortunes out of the gullible idiots who believe them. Bottom line is that like religious nutters the world over nothing will convince them their view is wrong, they are determined tto be ignorant
FYI

The Duke of Kent is the head of the Freemasons in this country.

The Duke of Edinburgh joined in 1952 while in the Navy, but has never been active.

Tony Blair and Gordon Brown are reported to be members.

I thought it would be all over until I saw the front of today's Times newspaper. The seven paparazzi are shown with their identifying numbers jumbled - telephone this number (in LONDON) --WOW. How was this one set up??
Loosehead, do you have any evidence to the contrary about this or the exsistance of a God.
Until you do have absolute proof then don't label anyone who doesn't see things your way as nutters.
I would certainly not give you that label just because I can not prove it was not a conspiracy of some sort.
Fact is that nothing is balievable and everything is questionable until proof is provided. And I'm not talking just because a so called expert says it is or isn't.
Lay the unaltered and untampered facts before me and I will then consider that this whole thing was just an accident.
It's quite disturbing that there are so many nutters still talking b0llox about this.
R1Geezer, explain to my why I should be shot down, for having an opinion, by an oxymoron like you.

SHould I shoot you down for having your own opinion, or just being a total c ock?

just saying it's murder with no explanation is a bit bl00dy silly. Why is it murder? you believe all that Phil the greek/MI5 pony then do you?

You can shoot down my opinion any day but it would have been supplied with some form of reasoning. That's all I'm asking.
spaced - did you really mean oxymoron?

Everyone - R1Geezer and Matydalover make a very good point. There are far, far easier, safier and more reliable ways to bump someone off than this. The Robert Maxwell way is an obvious one.

But far more persuasive is a simple cost/benefit analysis.

What would the royal family stand to gain by her death? Getting rid of someone they didn't like? Preventing a muslim from joining the family? What does that matter? Listen to yourselves! Seriously, however strongly you think they feel about these things, do you really believe that 'the powers that be' would commit murder...

...when the potential harm is so vast. If the conspiracy is exposed, the monarchy is finished for ever. Would they really take that risk?

It's an absolute no-brainer. Please please please stop being so thick.
the original question asked for swayed in the direction for an opinion not a 5000 word thesis including an introduction, proposal, main body and conclusion, like you guys have made it out to be.

R1Geezer, I take back my comment, apologies, BUT...I if want to add no weight to my opinion then I have a right to do so. I believe it was murder, thats it, thats my opinion, I dont have to give you or anyone else a reason why I believe it to be so. It may not be true to you or others and it may be a far fetched opinion, but why do I have to justify my answer?

Quinlad - read my comment above and tell me how that makes me thick? If having your own opinion makes you thick then there is no future for the human race.

You beileive what you want and I'll stick to mine. I think that becasue we are still talking about this 11 yrs on, shows that its more likely to be murder or a very suspicious accident than an unfortunate accident. End of. Next question.
