i have planned a trip to Scotland.i plan to walk along the border (starting from St Andrews finishing up at Edinburgh, and staying in cheap B&Bs along the way).anyone know roughly how long it would take?weeks? months?

Edinburgh is 100 miles north of the nearest border, and, by road, St Andrews is about a further 80 miles on into Fife.

You could walk St. Andrews - Edinburgh, using the coast road, comfortably in less than a week. There're few hills and it's a really nice piece of country.
